    What a heartbreaking news of Songlin Zhang's death.When I heard of his sudden, unexpected death,my heart broke into pieces and I felt the great sense of loss.He was our genial friend and one of proudest Chinese animator.He was one of leaders of Chinese animation field and we will miss him so much.

    Rest in peace, Songlin Zhang

Dear the family of his,

    I want to share the deep sorrow with you and I dare to say that you deserve to be proud of him.He inspired the mumerous animation people and they will remember him for ever and parise for his virtue.I wish I had words to comfort and sustain your grief but I know there are none that will take away pain you are feeling now.

张师母:

     惊悉松林老师仙逝，如霹雳轰顶，尖刺穿心，颓然瞠目，大悲无语……

     松林老师倾毕生才华，注满腔热血，熔铸成一帧帧经典的动画画面；用殷殷之情,以拳拳之心,培育出一个个优秀的动画人才。其德也高如峻山，其情也深似大海，其人也亲若春风，其品也直比青松。

     松林老师人正心正，敬学谨学，巍巍成就，谦谦君子，光灿业界，为吾等晚生后进者步趋之楷模。

松林老师永生！

张松林先生家属：

     惊悉我国著名的动画艺术家、教育家、中国动画教育的奠基人张松林先生不幸离世的噩耗，我校上下深感悲恸，仅对先生逝世表示最沉痛的哀悼。

     张松林先生一生心血皆倾注于中国动画，他参与创作的动画片都是可在我国动画史上留名的上乘佳作，特别是先生导演的家喻户晓的动画片《没头脑和不高兴》、《蜜蜂和蚯蚓》、《小燕子》等，是伴随我国几代人成长的珍贵记忆。先生不但在动画创作领域硕果累累，在动画理论和教育方面也可谓著作等身、桃李芬芳，他的辞世不仅是动画产业的深重损失，也是我国动画教育事业的深重损失。

     敬请转达我校的哀悼之意和向张松林先生亲朋好友表示慰问之心，并望节哀。

     惊悉张松林老先生仙逝，不胜怆然。

     黄埔泱泱，豫园苍苍，哲人云逝，百世留芳。名师惠泽，桃李芬芳，以驰哀思，敬奠灵堂。

     “进一步提升《中国动画网》的影响力和传媒功能。建立通讯员网络机制，扩大信息量，更好为动画业界服务。”张老先生十年前的谆谆之言尚尤在耳，再求教诲却已无门而入。悲夫！

     时光荏苒，艰险几多。中国动画网虽几经坎坷，但我们绝不放弃，必将迎难而上，继往开来，先德之教，不敢或忘。请张老先生放心。

     惟希家属亲友节哀顺变，善承遗德！谨此致唁！

莫里斯.桑达克，美国图画书大师，代表作《野兽出没的地方》，83岁；张松林，中国老一代动画片导演，代表作《没头脑和不高兴》，80岁。两位原本互不关联的大师，5月8日同一天辞世，引来网上各大儿童阅读论坛的一片哀思。
